GROOM, what do you love most about BRIDE? Remember that when BRIDE embodies these qualities and when she does not that you are willing to sacrifice for her out of your passion for Christ. That you love her like Christ loves the church. And this means you love BRIDE even when she doesn’t deserve it – and even when you don’t feel like it.
BRIDE, what do you love most about GROOM? I know there will be moments when these qualities won’t characterize GROOM. Even when those moments occur stay the course. Make GROOM more important than anything else, sacrificing for him out of your passion for Christ. Support him and sacrifice for him even when he doesn’t deserve it – and even when you don’t feel like it.
GROOM and BRIDE, be committed to each other. Be faithful to each other. Love each other. Sacrifice for each other. Do this and the world will see how great your love is for God and most importantly how great God’s love is for them. Go the distance. Finish the race. Stay the course.
